Marmoset Toolbag v1.03 Update

Toolbag has received another update! Version 1.03 has arrived with more new features and the essential bug fixes to boot.

With more robust camera controls, supersampled screenshots, and some Direct3d 11 Tesselation support thrown in for good measure, you’ll surely be ready to take your seat on the “most awesome CG artist around” throne. Screenshot output also now has proper alpha-to-coverage support, and if you have any more questions about any feature at all, contextual Toolbag Tooltips will be there to assist.

We here at 8monkey took on the engineering effort for Battle Slots and lent our “Code & Spin” to this awesomely-addicting casual RPG. Essentially, you get the chance to fight dragons and wizards and narwhals with a potato gun, fueled by the powers of a slot machine. Can an opportunity like that really be beat? We don’t think so.

Comicon Challenge 2010 | Winners!

We’re a bit behind the ball here, but congratulations are in order nonetheless. Every year GameArtisans.org hosts the “Age of Legends: Comicon Challenge” competition bringing together artists from around the world to re-imagine a favorite superhero or villain in 3d or 2d. We finally got around to checking out the 2010 winners and a shout out is definitely in order!

Congratulations to each and every artist that submitted work! There were fantastic entries this year in both categories. Each and every year we see the Game Art communities grow in size and talent level, and we’re ecstatic that such a large number of you have embraced Toolbag to aid you in your presentations.
